When someone contacts West Coast Women’s Refuge, we start by listening.
Our team may talk with you about:
What has been happening
Immediate safety concerns
What support may feel helpful
What options are available
Practical next steps
Every situation is different.
Some people may need immediate crisis support, while others may simply want information, advice, or someone safe to talk to.
We understand that safety and confidentiality are extremely important when reaching out for support.
All support is confidential and client-led.
You will not be judged or pressured.
We work alongside people at their own pace and support them in making informed decisions about what feels right for their situation.
For safety reasons, we do not publicly share safehouse locations or some service locations online.
